Just speaking as a layman the Hunter case seems impossibly flawed, I don’t think it will ever go to trial and unless they get trump’s ideal W Virginia jury theres little chance of conviction.
Right now I think Job #1 for Weiss is to find a way to extricate himself, he needs a long, long powerwash on this.

The Israeli intelligence mention raised my eyebrows as well. Unlike you though I didn’t immediately assume a connection with Netanyahu. Is that connection a given? I’ve been making an animated feature documentary about a lot of this mishigas, but there is so much that I don’t understand.
How much of this has to do with lunatic right wing evangelicals working with lunatic right wing Israelis pushing for an eschatological chain reaction that matches their fantasies? How many of the people involved are actual believers and how many instead just see short-term financial gain in backing the largest authoritarian movement of the past 100 years?
