I haven’t yet listened to the broadcast and you may have covered this, but I am confused as to why Massie is risking, I’ll go so far as say, his life on the Epstein files.
Is he thinking this may get him in the 2028 presidential race lead?

    • zscoreUSA says:

I doubt Massie is doing this as a bid to become president, unless you are seeing something I’m not.

Marcy doesn’t mention motives for Massie specifically, but does for MTG. Marcy points out MTG was shunned by Governor Kemp type Republicans as well as more extreme Republicans in her attempt to run for Senate. So that may factor into her bucking the party.

If that were true, Trump would have blabbed about it years ago. Orange dude loves to gossip and also make himself the center of attention.

Moses Mike is full of it.

      • RitaRita says:

Someone may have told Trump that bragging about ratting out Epstein might open up a whole set of questions about what he knew, when he knew and how he knew it. None of the answers would make Trump look good.

    • RitaRita says:

Brad Edwards, one of the lawyer’s for the victims, at the Capitol steps rally noted that Trump had been helpful in giving the authorities and him leads about Epstein in 2009. He asked Trump to help again.

Knowing that the relationship reportedly soured because of Trump outbidding Epstein for a Palm Beach mansion that Trump then flipped for a hefty profit, i can see the vindictive Trump stabbing Epstein in the back and then twisting the knife by ratting on him to the FBI.

If Trump was truly being a Boy Scout, why wait until 2009? Surely he must have suspected before then.

    • zscoreUSA says:

Interesting. It has been long suspected that Trump was an FBI informant.

Here’s a 2020 article by Greg Olear describing investigations into mobsters that prevail while the mobsters have proximity to Trump

      https://web.archive.org/web/20200416040316/https://gregolear.substack.com/p/tinker-tailor-mobster-trump

Here’s Craig Unger describing NY FBI career agent Frank Kallstrom and his 40 year friendship with Trump, and weekly phone calls. Unger described the relationship as “out of pocket”, without official paperwork.

      https://archive.is/0RP1u

Not to mention, Giuliani’s career taking off while prosecuting Trump’s mob associates, which led to Russian mobsters filling the vacuum. And coincidentally , Trump friend, Jeffrey Epstein, an FBI informant, also had Giuliani as a lawyer. One of Giuliani’s first gigs leaving SDNY was to be counsel for Towers Financial, a scheme run by Epstein, which was likely to funnel and launder money for arms dealers like Douglas Leese and Adnan Khashoggi.

Reagan is the only president who is officially recognized to have been an FBI informant.

      • wa_rickf says:

I don’t believe that Trump was an FBI informant for second.

        * Trump used mob ties for cement pours in his buildings.
        * Trump did the very same thing Epstein did, with Miss USA and Trump
        Modeling Agency.

I believe that Trump ratted-out Epstein (embezzling from Wexler, teen girls), before Epstein could rat-out Trump (money-laundering, teen girls) with the spark being the mansion that Trump sneakily out-bid Epstein for.

That scenario is more in character of Trump, than Trump being noble and working as a crime fighter.

Don’t know how trustworthy to be of this article, People Have Little Sympathy For The Arkansas Farmers Who Are Asking Trump For Emergency Funding To Save Their Farms
    https://www.buzzfeed.com/morgansloss1/arkansas-farmers-asking-trump-for-money-reactions?utm_source=yahoo-recirc-links
“On Tuesday, hundreds of farmers from across the state gathered before representatives to voice their concerns and ask for help amid terrible markets, higher input costs, and tariffs. Many emphasized the direness of the situation, with one farmer saying, “I have never been as worried as I am now about whether or not my kids and grandkids will be able to carry on.””

to the JD Vance hovering in the wings discussion: we need (non-AI generated) graphics of Vance wearing “Vance 48” merch – every photo of him with Trump wearing his mega-47 hat, Vance at his side in his own 48 hat, etc. Drive that wedge and Trump paranoia.

Hat tip to Ewan Woodsend who left this link on Marcy’s 9/2 post (Kristi Noem’s Non-Stop Slander Invites Congress to Ask Melania about Her Close Ties to Jeffrey Epstein.)

Lots of food for thought about Epstein and Russia, the Maxwells, Putin ( including his AI obsession,) and various other Russians. Some of this we’ve heard about before. But some of it provides details I didn’t know before. For example, people associated with SPIEF.

I don’t think individual, non cult member Republicans or Democrats are working or coordinating to defeat the MAGA cult, I think the MAGA cult is just doing what all cults do- fall apart because of the myopic pathology of the inner workings of the cult itself. Or, a better statement would be, the individual congressional voices saying JFK Junior is full of shit, calling out his lies, is not what is breaking the fascism or MAGA cult. It is that the alpha group is piled high with incompetent and weak individuals. All of them, Hegseth is and was an alcoholic, JFK Junior was a heroin addict, Pirro is and was an alcoholic, and this list could go on.

I did read an article directly after the election of Biden about the pills that were being scripted during the Trump admin, that it was happy time with scripts. Those high up the food chain MAGA cult members are extremely weak individuals because they were manipulated so easily by a ninny of a blob of a man that Trump is. The cult is simply falling apart.

But, yo– cults at the end of their pathology do crazy shit, think about Jim Jones and the Jamestown massacre.

  7. Greg Hunter says:

Thanks for the insights about what the Democrats are doing in Congress, especially the Medicare focus, as that is coming through even in MAGA land. Same with the Barrasso link on vaccines as that testimony is getting coverage in Wyoming, but I will wait to see if he will take a more pointed approach by repeating his words in interviews with the Wyoming media.

    • xyxyxyxy says:

Did you mean “especially the Medicare focus” or “Medicaid focus” as I don’t recall anything on Medicare on the show, unless my recollection is off.

I am unable to open the NS/EW link, either in chrome or firefox. Didn’t even get to motorcycles and stoplights, let alone to the “Are you a non-robot?” box to check. The Firefox notice says it’s an originator’s site preferences, or some such. TheY showed a wonky workaround but that also didn’t work — or wonk — either.

    FYI. Maybe it’s just me?

Your SF Chron link didn’t mention it, but I read elsewhere that the convicted felon dozed-off as he typically does at the public events.

Actually, VETERANS can salute the flag and the anthem instead of placing the hand over the heart, and may render the salute while covered if the veteran’s branch does not render salutes uncovered.

        • Thequickbrownfox says:

CIC is, by design, a CIVILIAN post. He’s not a vet and not a member of the military. I wouldn’t bitch about the CIC returning the salute of a military member, but that is outside of the flag and anthem protocol. He makes up his own rules, and nobody can stop him from doing so, and that is why democracy in this country teeters on the brink.

Protecting Canada’s youth from the risks of exposure to gambling advertising
    https://www.cmaj.ca/content/197/29/E918

advertisements for sports betting platforms punctuate screened competitive sports games without limits on their duration or frequency. Sports betting advertisements are seen on player jerseys and digitally projected onto playing areas, and commentator segments are sponsored by betting platforms. Such advertising insidiously normalizes a harmful activity, and children are being exposed, to their detriment. Despite official age restrictions for participating in gambling and using betting platforms, Canada’s youth are being harmed.
