“Just say there’s an investigation, and we’ll take it from there.”

It does seem normal (for Trump) that the whole “scandal” is a lie. Completely made up with the press falling in line to amplify Trump’s fake news.

So Pulte accidentally implicated three Trump cabinet members and his own dad, but not the black woman he was trying to help Trump fire. [Link to Reuters]

      LOL!

Like Trump, Pulte is a nepo baby from birth. In Pulte’s case, his grandfather made the money. Jr only learned how to abuse it. Trump hires only the best.

Over at Faux comments, the Groypers are outing Tyler as Groyper and framing the event as a Groyper vs MAGA civil war. Apparently, Tyler’s dad is big time MAGA.

    • wa_rickf says:

Apparently Kirk was #ReleaseTheFiles. Then Trump told him to back off. #Groyper is all about release the files and saw Kirk protecting Trump.

      • gruntfuttock says:

So, not lefty? Sidney Blumenthal was interviewed on the BBC recently and mentioned that it might be to do with Groypers.

I wonder when Trump will make a big speech about that ;-)

        • wa_rickf says:

Trump won’t – he’s part of the problem

          Groyper vs MAGA
          anti-pedophilia vs pedophile protection racket

Pedophilia is the ONE thing the separates these two factions of Rwing philosophy. Recently, 211 MAGA House Republicans voted for pedophile protectionism as ordered by Trump and Moses Mike.

    • Rayne says:

If the rightwing wants to engage in internecine warfare, get out of the way and do something constructive instead of giving them yet more attention.

I don’t personally want to expend energy on a woman who supported and continues to support his toxic bigotry.

      • HonestyPolicyCraig says:

It is as if the press is being used to broadcast the MAGA message of violence. It appears that press is unaware of this.

      • HonestyPolicyCraig says:

At some point, since the murder of Kirk, is the press going to feel a moral tug, some thought of — okay, we have a president who is actively inciting violence on to a political affiliation, “the liberals”, who ever they are, directly after the murder of a political personality — like, inside their college educated brain onion, is the press aware that they are actively broadcasting a message of violence into the USA streets?

Legally, let’s say there is a “liberal” party next week, and violence is directed at them, what are the ramifications of the violent message from our press, do they just absolve themselves of any responsibility and continue to broadcast messages of violence from our leadership, even congress. Is the press this stupid?

And now it is the freaking wife of Kirk inciting violence? Never surrender?

        • Rayne says:

” is the press going to feel a moral tug”

No. There have been many times already the press should have responded differently to incitement of violence particularly that by Trump but they didn’t.

That’s why yet again I wrote we have a problem with media — they aren’t responding properly to other threats to the nation like Trump’s mental and physical decline.

    This is a doozie!
Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick is now criticizing Elon Musk’s rapid federal worker cuts.
Lutnick told Axios that Musk got the DOGE cuts “backward.”
Lutnick recruited Musk to be in charge of DOGE and tasked him with cutting $1 trillion.

And it’s wonderful to see the Fox host criticizing college for Robinson’s leanings, although he went a semester to a, I think, mechanical technical training school and never returned. They love the uneducated.

    Nobody’s Justice

    Who are they fooling
    with each selfish ruling
    They’ve scrapped their schooling
    for conniving bar stooling

    Secrets and shadows
    Whispers and whims
    Roberts’ winding-clothes
    Dirges and hymns

    Nobody’s justice
    with schemes to encrust us
    will blister rust us
    in strides that disgust us

    Secrets and shadows
    Whispers and whims
    Roberts’ winding-clothes
    Dirges and hymns

    Stop the retooling
    The republic’s unspooling
    Lack of ethics is grueling
    in this madcap dueling

    Secrets and shadows
    Whispers and whims
    Roberts’ winding-clothes
    Dirges and hymns

    Nobody’s justice
    has underbussed us
    with action that’s cussed us

I want to share this video from yesterday of Jennifer Welsh, progressive, and her take on the events of the last 72 hrs. She also discusses Kash Patel’s “Valhalla” remark. In my opinion, Jennifer is SPOT ON as is her sidekick “Pumps.”

    https://youtu.be/rKQ1Y8-j2lE?si=8Z7o5JlUXhR5itGb

Things are coming at us so fast and furious right now, things like Kash’s “Valhalla” are being over looked.

  6. wa_rickf says:

    re: Jair Bolsonaro

Brazil got it right by holding their coup plotter accountable. That John Roberts, as Marcy points out, failure to hold Trump accountable is why our country is such a mess today and democracy is being dismantled by the alt-right.

Now li’l Marco has jumped on the bandwagon and says that Brazil will be held accountable for the Jair Bolsonaro witch hunt, saying that Bolsonaro was unjustly convicted – that the United States will act accordingly.

I love how Marcy summarized J6 in so much detail in a quick ten minute encapsulation. Kudos.

    • P J Evans says:

Bolsonaro is lucky he got 27 years, and not life without parole.
Whether Marco and his boss think it’s just (and justice) is on them, and says nothing good about them.

  7. Joe Orton says:

A while ago I lived on a side street that was one street over from a larger street that was a border between two street gangs, in Long Beach, Calif. Every once in a while there would be a night when members crossed over the border and did criminal mischief on the other gang’s territory. Maybe Trump will deport his gang member friends to Africa?

  8. xyxyxyxy says:

It may have been mentioned and I may have missed it, but let’s not forget that Kirk paid for buses for insurrectionists to come to DC on J6.
“A few days prior to the riot, TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, in a now-deleted tweet, advertised that its affiliate organization Turning Point Action would be sending more than 80 buses filled with Trump supporters to DC to “fight for the president.” Advertisements also said the group would be offering free hotel rooms.
“The historic event will likely be one of the largest and most consequential in American history,” Kirk wrote. “The team at @TrumpStudents & Turning Point Action are honored to help make this happen, sending 80+ buses full of patriots to DC to fight for this president.”
Andrew Kolvet, a spokesperson for Turning Point Action, told Insider that TPUSA “did not organize any buses and was not involved in any events of Jan 6 in any way.””

Off topic, and now Monday. Maureen Comey has filed a lawsuit claiming her firing was illegal.
    This one could get interesting.
