NEW, re: J.G.G litigation which has been covered a lot here:

[…] Now, the split among the Democratic appointees should not be ignored. Pan’s dissenting opinion makes that clear. […]

If nothing else, Pan explained, the court should rehear the matter to make clear when mandamus relief can be issued […]

Ultimately, it appears that Pillard (and several other Democratic appointees) concluded it was more important to get the matter back to Boasberg than keep fighting — and to keep fighting in a way that could have led to the Trump administration seeking U.S. Supreme Court action.

Instead, her vote helped to move the matter back to Boasberg — more than 200 days since the appeals court granted the Trump administration an “administrative” stay over her objection.

Off topic, but without bmaz we never talk music anymore: Todd Snider is dead at 59. There is no justice. Here’s one stanza of a tune you might know him for –

    Right wing Republican
    Straight, white, American males
    Gay-bashing, black-fearing
    Poor-fighting, tree-killing
    Regional leaders of sales
    Frat-housin’, keg-tappin’

Of the 2 girls Epstein “stole” from Trump/Mar a Lago, there’s a difference in their father’s respective actions.

1st victim: Giuffre, 16, year 2000, father a Mar a Lago maintenance employee, father also was her first sexual abuser and sex trafficker, Virginia believed father was paid off early on, unclear if Trump was involved or aware of that when he told Epstein “knock it off”

2nd victim: minor, year somewhere from 2004-2007, a masseuse about 18 years old, father a club member who complained directly to Trump

    • Ginevra diBenci says:

Thank you, zscoreUSA, for pointing to this distinction. In fact it has ramifications throughout our reactions to victims, and not just victims of Epstein and Maxwell.

Why, people often wonder, do folks let themselves be swallowed up by predators? Isn’t a sixteen-year-old plenty old enough to understand such a situation? The critical difference you point to, the difference between coming from a background where you were valued as a person and one where you were treated as a thing, can make such “clear” distinctions blurry even for the smartest victims. I know because I was one.

Predators grasp this intuitively. They know to hone in on the Virginia Giuffres, those completely lacking in support both external and internal. Ghislaine Maxwell’s genius as a predator was her instinct for finding girls who had been hollowed out inside, and then flattering them until they were caught in her web. Maxwell did this it seems to please Epstein, but the reason doesn’t matter to the lives they trashed.

Trump is happy to stand up for women who already have men in their corner. The ones who don’t? Well, they can go the way of Virginia Giuffre for all he cares.

With the release of the 23K Epstein emails this week, I am heartened by the increase in negative comments about Trump at Fox News.com. I guesstimate, depending on the article, between 40-60% negative Trump posts at FoxNews.com.

There is a vet with a podcast called Valhalla VFT. This guy is D-O-N-E with MAGA and Trump. He is an America First’er and because of him, I became aware of the split in the conservative movement between MAGA and America First – which I noticed began BECAUSE of CK’s death.

Link to Valhalla VFT where he finds old clips of Trump and says: Trump has been hiding in plain site for decades.

Samesies. I first noticed this YouTuber after Charlie Kirk’s death. The algorithms sent me other Charlie Kirk assassination related videos ranging from trying to recreate the actions of the alleged shooter to conspiracy theories so insane that Jim Breuer’s explanation of Killer the dog make sense.

It has been a good gauge of the tension on different sides of MAGA and other conservatives. Charlie Kirk’s death is a huge rift there.

And have been following that Valhalla YouTube channel since, in order to gauge public opinion. Valhalla has particularly torched Kash Patel, as untrustworthy, in particular for using the phrase “I’ll see you in Valhalla” as akin to stolen valor. Recently he also torched Megyn Kelly for her defense of Epstein liking 15 year old girls instead of 8 year old girls.

Haven’t seen this clip you linked yet, I will check it out.

    • zscoreUSA says:

Also, I beg to differ slightly on whether the rift between MAGA and America First began because of Kirk’s death.

I see earlier rifts beginning with the topics of support for Israel and covering up for Epstein, which are topics linked to each other. America First has lamented the US support of genocide in Gaza.

The battle involving Kirk, is kind of a subset therein. Kirk was at the center of the conservative divide over US support for Israel, and a lot of the right wing Battle of Charlie Kirk’s Death relates to Israel.

      • wa_rickf says:

        @ zscoreUSA

After I made the post above, I began thinking, the rift between America First and MAGA probably started in July 2025 after Trump shutdown the Epstein release notion and accelerated greatly when CK was shot.

America First absolutely are not buying the Ka$h Patel narrative of how CK was murdered.

Exactly the same here for me. I want to understand how these people think with the possibility to exploit their asinine thinking on Fox News.com comments.

    ***tin foil hat***

I have always been interested in why people do the things they do. It’s a topic that fascinates me.

According to the newly released Epstein file emails, Trump performed a male-to-male sex act on Bill “Bubba” Trump. Also in the emails, Epstein gave Putin information (pics?) to hold over Trump.

Everyone thought the Kompromat was the “pee tape.” Trump has always said there is no pee tape.

    What if…

The information that Epstein gave to Putin was the sex act between Trump and Bubba. That would make sense of why Trump came out of the Helsinki meeting looking so ashen and Putin looking like a Cheshire cat.

    Pee tape = kinky
Sex act with Bubba = embarrassing
(Trump HATES being embarrassed. SEE: White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 30, 2011)

    Further…

That would make sense of why Trump reopened the Epstein case. This supports the Helsinki theory (2918) and timeline above, by recharging Epstein when Epstein (2019) supposedly “committed suicide” in lockup.

Also note that Bill Barr became Attorney General under President Donald Trump on February 14, 2019. Epstein was re-arrested on July 6, 2019.

What better retribution for Trump could there be than to eliminate the guy who severely embarrassed him in front of Putin?

      • Savage Librarian says:

Bubba is NOT Clinton, according to Epstein’s brother, Mark. Since he is the one who wrote the email, maybe we should listen to him. Unless, of course, you like to generate conspiracy theories detrimental to the party you claim to support.

    • P J Evans says:

Bessent seems to think cattle are teeny things you can hide on your person. (The problem is that screwflies got out of containment (in Central America), while we were too confident we had them stopped.)

    • wa_rickf says:

It’s just a facade. Can’t release the files if there is an open investigation. He thinks people are stupid and don’t see what he’s doing.

The problem is for #PamBlondi. She closed the investigation in July stating there is no more evidence or facts to investigate, same with Ka$h Patel.

Now there is more to investigate because only Dems are being looked into? These people are pathetic.
