The Crime Wave Is Coming from Inside the [White] House

As most of you have noticed, I’ve been trying to do videos summarizing more of my work, because it’s far more accessible than what I do here. As with the Ball of Thread podcast I did last year, I’ve been doing this work with LOLGOP.

He and I are discussing how to keep this effort going long-term. So, in addition to sharing this latest video (which I think is one of our best), I wanted to set up a post for feedback on the videos and — just importantly — to put a tip jar for LOLGOP.

Please consider recognizing his work on these videos with a contribution here

Thank you! And thanks to LOLGOP for the hilarious editing of Jeanine Pirro boasting about the subway guy.

I appreciate these very much. Most of the time because my work + commute makes it so that listening to something can fit in better with my work.

Also – It can make something that you’ve been cataloguing for a while be sewn up – so you can reference a timeline you’ve been keeping up here in to a larger narrative. And considering how often things are happening, tie-up posts / videos are so necessary.

(Another “Also” – thanks for being a website that still uses RSS. I know that sounds dumb, but I feel like it’s becoming less and less utilized on the front end of websites.)

I love these videos and the Ball of Thread series. They are like mini documentaries, helping to keep track of complex details.

[Also when I click on the link it just says this: “You’re all done here
You’ve either completed your payment or this checkout session has timed out.”]

I found Marcy’s characterisation very astute that the Trump-Miller regime (besides whatever other malignity it is engaged in) is exerting itself to criminalise ordinary citizens who are merely exercising their civil rights as a deliberate PR attempt to “equivalence away” the (scandalously pardoned) Jan 6 insurrectionists.

But this is not new. After Nixon’s disgrace, the GOP has striven mightily to achieve the same with any later Democrat president, rightly or wrongly. To “level down” in the public’s eye via deliberate enshittification. Starting with Bill Clinton. They “threw spaghetti at the wall” in that case in the hope that something would stick, and when their original intent flopped, desperately clutched onto whatever straw they could find instead, and merely achieved some personal embarrassment. The latest attempt being Trump’s additional personal vendetta against Biden, merely because he beat Trump fair and square.

Trump is simply the decaying GOP over the last several decades made grossly manifest. A fungal body that has sprouted out of very rich manure.

Perhaps no one has fallen out a window yet, but Ivana Trump did fall down the stairs in her own home on the day before her children were to testify in Trump’s NY fraud trial. Coincidentally, Matthew Calamari, Trump’s former bodyguard, and his son controlled access to her residence on that day.

This one is a “yes, but” situation. The Trump admin is actually glad the supremos decided not to hear the case, which if they did, would have enflamed nationwide publicity on the Epstein case even if they ultimately decided against her after having a hearing. Now her only hope is a pardon from Jeffrey’s Best Friend.

Or maybe another hope: A conveniently fueled helicopter available on one of her daily outings, so she can begin an escape to a non-extradition country.

A la Timothy Leary’s jail escape where the Weatherman helped him out and he wound up in Algeria hoping that Eldridge Cleaver and the exiled Black Panthers would shelter him? When Eldridge and Algeria proved to be inhospitable, he wound up in Afghanistan, which did have an extradition treaty with the U.S. and wound up back here to serve more time. Ironically Gov. Jerry Brown wound up commuting his sentence and he was let out.

Yes. What Savage Librarian said. Especially if Trump suddenly strokes out and shuffles off his mortal coil. Ghiz must be worried about that and probably has a plan to skip before it can. The escape scenario would be convenient for Trump, too. She’d be free, her mouth would stay shut and he wouldn’t have to take the heat for pardoning her.

Or the chopper and its passenger are never heard from again. Flying over large water masses, perhaps?

“Now her only hope is a pardon from Jeffrey’s Best Friend.”

That’s her ace in the hole. If Trump stalls on the delivery, I expect one or two more scoop news stories like the Epstein Birthday Card.

As Mr. Trump bragged to the high military command last week,
“Actually, I love my signature, I really do. Everyone loves my signature.
But I sign it very proudly.”

It is the Reichstag Fire all over again.
Have Worm-tongue and his crew been studying it?
Or are they just innately adept at honing in on insinuating, instigating, victimizing — themselves like loathsome Hellfire heat-seeking missiles?

For people who are interested in rw narratives and potential rifts therein:

Over the weekend, The Washington Examiner put out an email with the following articles, listed in order:

    1. The GOP must reject Stephen Miller’s holy war rhetoric [this is also the subject title of the email]

    2. Trump’s unconditional forever war against cartels

    3. The enemy of your enemy is not your friend
About Candace Owens and her split from other rw influencers

    4. Trump’s absurd Qatar security guarantee: a predictable result of Netanyahu’s folly

Then a couple of standard rw articles.
