I realize one of the problems with Bush is he has totally alienated the Bush family employees who could give him some kind of moral compass on which to rebuild. Scowcroft, sure. But especially James Baker. Not gonna do it again, I’m sure he’s repeating in his head at this moment.

Let me just say how much I love the fact that the cable news networks are doing split screen coverage: one eye on the courthouse, another on Air Force One skipping town!

Reminiscent of a big white Bronco, perhaps?

I’m holding off on the teevee until 2, I think. The Internets are more fun. And the teevee is down in the basement.

    Investigation continues, it looks like.

If I were at the presser, my first question would be: Mr. Fitzgerald, how many plea deals did you make in the last week?

A long, thorough indictment and press release are now available at Fitz’s site.

Now we have Fitzgerald’s detailed telling of the tale … this should resolve many mysteries and red herrings and set the stage for many more.

    Roll Wheel, Roll!

THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT….This is all politically motivated bullshit:Valerie Plame had already been discovered by the Russians and outed by the CIA itself to Fidel Castro. READ THIS

This is a manufactured, bullshit scandal.

entropylad, whether Plame had been discovered by Russian spies or through inadvertant disclosure in documents that were accessed by the Cuban government seems irrelevant to the charges against Libby, which are perjury, lying, and obstruction of justice. Maybe that’s why Fitzgerald (whom that article refers to as â€a highly capable special prosecutorâ€) didn’t reach farther.

Can anyone else, familiar with the claims entropylad raises, address them for me? just curious.
