Marcy Wheeler is an independent journalist writing about national security and civil liberties. Marcy has a PhD from the University of Michigan, where she researched the “feuilleton,” a short conversational newspaper form that has proven important in times of heightened censorship. Bush’s Cover-Up
/in USA Purge/by emptywheelMurray Waas predicts that, after the two pending IG reports on politicization of DOJ come out, it’ll increasingly appear that Bush is invoking executive privilege to cover up the White House involvement in that politicization. That may be right–but I doubt that’s going to create the legislative firestorm that Murray predicts.
